Fruit Wars!

I've done it!!!
I switched over from a
Blackberry to an Apple iPhone. I had a great relationship with my BB and it occasionally had its issues but overall I was content and satisfied with it. However, my contract was up this month and it was time to think about an upgrade. Yes, I could have gone with a newer BB... let's say the torch. But in all honesty I've been eyeing the iPhone in the last couple months and I've also been hearing people talk about how awesome the apps are. What really grabbed my attention was the medical apps. Long story short I made up my mind and decided to test it out.I LOVE IT!!!!

Dear: iPhone. Where have you been all my life???

I've only been playing around with it this evening trying to get familiar with it and Im already loving it. I dont even feel sad about switching over from my BB. Usually I reminisce about features on my old phone when I get a new one.... Nuh uh! Not this time I can't wait to fully discover all the awesome stuff my iPhone4 can do :)

"Life was easier when Blackberry and Apple were just fruit" but I am loving my Apple.

Introducing Mia

The Bobbsey Twins -Baby (left) & Mia (Right)

For thanksgiving this year I got a new dog which I have named Mia. She a Bichon-Poo (my dream dog) and the sweetest ball of fur I have ever met.

My family decided that it was time for Baby our other dog ( 4 yr old, jack-a-poo) to have a playmate and sister if you will. Baby is one of those dogs that is more of a house dog and she was starting to believe that she was human. She needed another dog in her life to make her social with other dogs and to remind her that she IS also a dog.

The first week was rough on baby, she couldnt even be in the same room as Mia... Since I was the one who went to pick up Mia from the breeder she quickly adopted me as her mom. Baby ofcourse noticed and resented me for at least 2weeks because Mia required more of my attention. However, Baby has since warmed up to Mia, about the 3rd week in she was coming around a bit more... I think she finally realized that this new pup in town was here for good !

Now after 6 weeks they play, eat, walk and do everything together (like the bobbsey twins) its really cute to see them sharing treats, toys and doggie beds. They care and give each other eskimo kisses... I decided to enroll Mia into puppy school and when she comes home I like to practice her homework with her, Baby like to join in too.
Mia has really helped bring Baby back to behaving like a real dog... She is a blessing to our lives and shes My little girl.

Welcome Home Mia !

End of summer...

The end of summer has finally come! After a crazy busy and stressful summer involving school and dance, I can finally relax and enjoy what is left of summer. The girls all came together for the first time in a really really long time. We celebrated 3 birthdays at once at my house in a BBQ that I called “Birthday Threesome”... We gossiped, ate, laughed and drank some sexy drinks. My gf Mel from Dubai and her boyfriend were here, my gf Dav from Texas, and then the locals girls plus a rare appearance from our friend Grace. The bf’s were all in attendance and my brother played chef over the hot bbq... all in all a delicious success with a piece of delish ice cream cake to end the night.

The CNE for many represents the last couple weeks before school begins, for me its all that plus the craziest two weeks of dance before school starts. So on Friday Aug21 the CNE opened and we went as a dance group to perform in the international pavilion and it was a great show like every year... After my performance I walked around the CNE with B then we walked across to the Molson amphitheatre to see if we could score some tickets to see Pearl Jam for their Sold Out show... So we asked a scalper if he had tickets and he only had one *tear*. So Bruno just kept walking and went in and I said to him “We can’t just walk in if we don’t have tickets, we need to go back out there and find a scalper who has tickets” his response was “ What for we have tickets” and he pulled out a pair of tickets he bought months ago. It was an amazing concert I don’t think I can ever get tired of seeing Pearl Jam and I can’t believe he kept a secret from me for so long.

Labour Day weekend I went to the CNE again but this time for fun and for yet another concert. This time it was B, his friend and my gf Yvette. As girls we were interested in playing games and winning stuffed animals and we both ended up winning a little Miss Sunshine, Keroppi and I got a Crazy frog from Bruno while Yvette went home with some other stuffed friends. The guys on the other hand were interested in winning a pocket bike or an acoustic guitar. At the amphitheatre we saw The Killers and the evening was kindda cool and breezy but other than that it was a good concert. After the concert was over we went back to the CNE for a while longer to play some more games, food and BINGO... I won! And Yvette and I play some free games and the guy didn’t even know haha, we’re so sneaky lol

September rolls around and school begins and surely enough I had to get tons of homework on my first day back but who am I to complain, I’m just really excited that I have finally entered my last year and that I am now ¾ of the way to completing my education.... I look forward to graduating.

I was expecting to do something special for Bruno’s Birthday since he has done so much for me in these last few months... The original plan was to take him out to watch “We will rock you” because I know he likes Queen however when I was looking for tickets I saw that the last show was earlier this summer at the end June. So I was stumped but I finally came up with an idea and after a lucky search I found a great deal for floor tickets to go see U2 for their 360 tour. So when I gave B his card at first he was happy but after I think it really hit him and he was excited. I think we both had a great time at the concert and it was so far the BEST concert I have seen all year.

Well another summer has come and gone and like all things that are fun and exciting... all good things must come to an end

METRIC! ...at Edgefest

Yellow rain poncho, black rain boots and tickets to Edgefest!

There I was despite all the rain and mud flying everywhere I enjoyed every moment of it. The last of the Birthday concert tickets where used and needless to say my dear lovely bf was there right next to me.

So asides all the people soaking wet or covered in mud there was some pretty well known bands playing that day THE ARKELLS, K-OS AFI, MONEEN, THE STILLS,ALEXISONFIRE, BILLY TALENT (the head lining act) and of course what I was waiting for
METRIC!!!

I was so excited and I wish I could have gotten closer, however that comes with a price and that price included being covered in mud so I stayed a safe distance from the stage and sang my little heart out along with Emily Haines.

All in all I loved being there and has loads of fun, despite all the rain and mud. I was fun watching people walk around in the mud and have their flipflops sucked in by the mud, and as gross as it was I'll never forget the portapotty that had a urinal 3/4 full of Mens dirty piss and my stupid poncho got caught in the door as i was goin in and the stench... Lol the memories I take with me from this day are worth standing in the rain for .

No Doubt...

So last night I went to the No Doubt concert and it was AWESOME! For Part II of my Birthday concert tickets that my awesome bf gave me.

The concert started off with good performance by Bedouin. They did a few songs and then after that followed Paramore and they were really good. I have to say that I really enjoyed their performance, even though I am not a huge fan I do know a few of their songs and I got to hear some more of their material and I’m really liking it. Apparently they are coming back in Oct sometime because they are releasing a new album soon, so that might be something to look forward to.
Anyways the main event was No Doubt and they were so good. I think what I really like about whole was watching Stephen and his dance moves, at time he was more entertaining to watch than Gwen. I love love love his dancing. Anyways, some people were invited on stage a guy with a No doubt tattoo on his bicep, a guy who printed out the lyrics to a song on poster size paper and the lyrics where wrong... Hahaha.
Oh! And there was these two teeny girls sitting in front of us and they obviously were huge Paramore fans cus i think they might have creamed their panties a few times when certain songs were played.

Anyways they were just being stupid teenage girls but as they were dancing to songs one of them *ucking wacked me with her stupid flailing arms. She turned around to say sorry but I gave her the nastiest look just for my own amusement and I think she felt bad cus she stop waving her arms in the air like she just didn’t care. She was waving them but I think always careful to not hit me again Hahaha.
Omg! I tried to take a picture of the stupid girls in front of me cus her and her friend were wearing stupid 80’s sunglasses that said State Farm on the side... lol they were lame looking.

And I saw “Flyer Man”!!!! lol I pointed him out and my boyfriend thought I said “spider man “ and he was looking for someone coming down the ceiling hahaha I love it cus that really would have been cool, but anyways I haven’t seen Flyer Man in forever and I just got excited for like a second when I saw him. Thank you “B” for part 2 of birthday concert tickets

My Bounty is as boundless...

"My bounty is as bounless as the sea, My love as deep; the more i give to thee, the more I have for both are infinte." - William Shakespeare (Romeo & Julliet)

My interpretation of non-shakspearian english:
What I have to give to you is as endless as the sea, My love as deep; the more I give to you the more I have for both are endless.

How do I love thee...

"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of being and ideal grace.
I love thee to the level of every day's Most quiet need,
by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for right.
I love thee purely, as they turn from praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use In my old griefs,
and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose With my lost saints.
I love thee with the breath, Smiles, tears, of all my life;
and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death.

-How Do I Love Thee? (Sonnet 43)" — Elizabeth Barrett Browning

Its amazing how many people know the first line of this sonnet, but can't seem to finish the rest. Anyways I just wanted to post it because lastnight I was talking about it.

Janes Addiction & NIN

NIN JA !!!
June 02 , 2009 I went for part 1 of the concert tickets I got from my Hunky Bf on my Birthday! It was a good show I was expecting NIN to close but nooo it was Janes, a great show none the less... Im really happy that I got to see it with my bf, especially since its our first concert as a couple... I quiet enjoyed him holding me during the show, I always secretly was jealous of couples like that but now I have my turn and its a sweet feeling :)

Theses are some pics that I took at the NIN JA show the ones I took of NIN didnt turn out so great. The evening started off with a huge line up for parking, semi long walk to the entrance gate, massive line up, a ticket that printed out stupid and wouldnt scan, missing the first hour of the concert due to all the set backs, a gorgeous sunset and accidentally getting on the gardiner after.LOL All in all a perfect concert date!

( taken from IMBD)

Review:
Oh my fukken eyes!!! I NEVER expected to cry so much ( not sure if its cus I was hormonal at the time but I cried like a baby) the way the set up the scenes its so touching and emotional. Im usually not a crybaby but I kept telling myself after each cry fest that I wouldnt cry anymore only to cry once more over and over again... The story line was sortta predictable it wasnt the best movie but not the worst either. I guess its a good movies for girls to watch with thier girlfriends or mom if u wanna sit around and cry. Im not a huge fan of Hilary Swank I dont find her attractive I still think shes hotter as a dude with a ball of socks stuffed down her pants in "Boys dont cry". Maybe another actress could have convinced me to like this movie more than I did. I dunno maybe not all in all it was a good cry movie 4 out 5 for crying :(

OnDemand

I’ve recently upgraded my digital cable experience by upgrading the type of digital box I had to one that has PVR (personal video recorder). Well in addition to that we’ve also added some extra programming to our cable. Now I’m slowing becoming a TV whore with more channels to watch, my favorite shows available On Demand and the internal PVR… how could I not watch? Lately my life has come to a nightly routine Sex and the city from 1130 – 100 then I go On Demand catch up on Dexter season 3 (1 hr) and at 2 Yoga back to back till 3 …. Eeek!

This is where I’m glad that I’m not single anymore, because all this programming at my disposal plus my PVR… it’s like my NEW BFF, who needs a bf? Lol. I’ve already caught up with all of Summer Heights High half way through Dexter season3, Half done with Californication season 2 and now FOTC – Flight of the Conchords season 2 has started so HBO is my new friend : ) I love it !

YouAddiction

So recently I have become increasingly addicted to youtube, call it boredom, call it being a net loser, or call it what ever you want. It first started out as an occasional user and I had some gibberish user name because it was never my intention to share it with any of my friends. However, when I started adding videos to my favorites that’s when it started to get out of hand. So in my attempt to be a little more organized this year I tried to tidy up my account and put things into playlist folders. Well it became a bit of a headache. Finally I decided a new account with a name I actually like was in order iluvserendipity, now I’m half way done saving my old videos into proper folders plus some new additional video I thought of along the way. I have a bit of everything from music, yoga, cultural, fitness, makeup, and even a folder titled Lol, Rofl, Lmao where I just add random things that make me laugh. There’s just one thing missing though, I wanna start adding videos… but I don’t know what yet. I thought of all the things I like to do and even my talents and really I’m not sure what exactly but soon enough I’m going to be making my break into the youtube world. Anyways Just gonna add some videos from my playlist folders … enjoy!
Indian Nipple song (Lol, Rofl, Lmao Folder)

Money Korean Kareoke ( Lol, Rofl, Lmao Folder)

Yoga Sun Salutations (Yogaaaaaa folder)

Flavor wave TURBO oven

Lol .... This has become one of my favorite infomercials on tv these days. Mr T was one of my childhood heros and to see him endorsing this rocks my world. I have 2 girlfriends that swear this product is amazing and they had thiers for years. What makes this infomercial great is the lame acting by Darla and Mr T... some of my fav moments include:

1. the old lady in the audience when Mr T walks in the studio.
2. when Mr T says "I Pitty the fool ....." "das cooooo" "look ma, im cookin"
3. "das right boys and girls is always good to eat ur veggies"
4. Darla - I have a surprise for youMr T- Its not my birthday
Darla- It had to be your birthday sometime this yearMr T- Your not mistaken about THAT darla

lol .... enjoy!
